  • (Rd 1) 166,000 people watched the debut of the A-League on SBS2 for the clash between Sydney FC and the Newcastle Jets. 115,000 watched on Fox Sports.
  • (Rd 1) Across the opening round there was a total viewer count of 629,000. The most-watched game overall was the Friday night match, while Fox’s high for the weekend was Saturday’s Melbourne derby, which pulled in 124,000.
